What is Breathwork?
Breathwork refers to any type of breathing exercises or techniques. At SoulWise we utilize therapeutic breathing techniques to improve our psychological, spiritual, and physical well-being. With breathwork we intentionally change our breathing patterns to breathe in a conscious and systematic way assisting us with emotional coping and personal growth. Different types of breathwork are used depending on the need and desire of each client. Under the supervision of a qualified instructor, we utilizing Integrative Breathwork, Conscious Energy Breathing, Shamanic Breathwork, Transformational Breath and Clarity Breathwork.
Our goal is to help you find release from psychological blocks, emotional pain and trauma held in the body, negative thoughts and beliefs, and other stressors held in the subconscious. Unprocessed, or repressed, emotions have a physical impact on the body. This could be caused by trauma or because the emotions were too difficult or painful to deal with at the time. Detrimental thought or behavior patterns or the way a person has been conditioned to react to events throughout their life, are considered contributing factors for unprocessed emotions. We work to bring the adverse aspects of past trauma to the surface to be let go of , bringing about inner peace and a higher level of consciousness.
Positive outcomes of breathwork include:
- positive self-development and increased self-awareness
